Please reach out if you'd like to access the hot tub (set at 102°F year-round), and we'll open it up for you. We’d appreciate a 5-minute heads-up before you head down to use it. Otherwise, we keep the cover closed for safety, cleanliness and energy efficiency.
The cover, like so many other items you’ll see here, is a product of our commitment to repurposing, recycling, and slowing down the capitalistic machine of consumerism and waste. When the factory cover broke, we chose to custom-make a replacement by enveloping the original with an old billboard and by fashioning a unique locking system out of cable and metal eyelets instead of paying the manufacturer $4500 for a replacement. It might not look fancy or sophisticated, but it kept several items out of a landfill, let Jason exercise his creative ingenuity, and helped us keep a few thousand more dollars here in the local community.
THANK YOU!
